The Art of Improvisation Workshop

Welcome to 'Art of Improvisation,' a workshop underpinned by Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) principles. Through improvised movement and dance, participants will explore movement as a form of personal self expression and discover their inner creativity.

What can I expect during this workshop?

Led by skilled facilitators, attendees engage in improvised movement activities designed to support authentic expression, playfulness and exploration of various movement qualities.

Drawing from DMT frameworks, participants will explore polarities of movement, move with an emphasis on feeling, tempo and rhythm and will walk away with new tools to build their movement vocabulary. Participants will work in solos/pairs and groups and discover new creative processes of experiencing movement.
